Shipping Regulations

By placing an order, you agree to the subtotal cost, the shipping charges and the overall cost of the order. Shipping and handling fees are calculated based on the physical weights of the products (measured in pounds) and the location of the customer (based on the customer's zip code). Additionally, sales tax charges will be applied for customers in the state of Maryland.

We require a minimum $10.00 order on all transactions. Any order under $10.00 can still be placed, but will be subjected to a Low Order Fee of an additional $5.00 charge on the checkout page. Any order placed $10.00 (within the range of $0.05) will not be subjected to a Low Order Fee and checkout will process without the fee added.

From time to time, individual products may be offered with FREE SHIPPING, denoted as such on its respective listing and at checkout. However, this free shipping applies only to the contiguous 48 United States of America (Alaska and Hawaii subjected to additional surcharges.) International shipping is provided but is not eligible for our free shipping quotes. If a product with FREE SHIPING is ordered with other products that are not being offered with FREE SHIPPING, then shipping charges will only apply to those other products on your order.

In addition, any full order placed through this web site at one time must be shipped in its entirety to qualify for free shipping. This means that products from your order will not be shipped at separate dates; the entire order is paid for and then shipped to you in one delivery. This applies to products currently in stock, not products that are backordered or set for future delivery. The costs for multiple shipments of a single order are circumstantial, established by the specific products from your order. Larger shipping boxes will also be subject to additional charges at our own discretion.


Pre-Ordering Policies

We currently take check/money order or PayPal through this web site. If you would like to pay by credit card (non-Paypal), you may call our store phone number at (301)-740-8830. Or, you may use your credit card through PayPal without even having to set up an account -- there are options available on PayPal's web site to do so.

Orders placed where ALL products are in stock on said order will be shipped upon receipt of payment. We highly recommend that you place items for future shipment separately from items that are currently in stock. If you place in-stock and pre-order items together on one transaction, we will hold your order until all items are in stock and ready to ship.

Please e-mail us at fabricfriends@comcast.net if you would like to arrange for insuring your products. There will be NO cancellations on any orders. Pre-orders also CANNOT be cancelled. Once your order has been placed, you are agreeing to the prices that the products are listed as on your order. If a product is listed on sale after you've placed your order, you will not receive the sale item price. If you decide to forego your pre-order, you lose ALL monies that have been paid toward each pre-order; there will be no exceptions on this.


Returns

Returns will be accepted within 7 days of receiving your order. Only exchanges will be made for damaged items. You must e-mail me at fabricfriends@comcast.net with explanation of the damaged product(s) received for us to consider if we will exchange it. Shipping costs for returns is the sole responsibility of the buyer. There will be absolutely no refunds.


Layaways

If you are interested in setting up a layway, you must call the store at (301)-740-8830 or e-mail us at fabricfriends@comcast.net. Layaway programs can not be administered through this web site. Please do not place an order through this web site with the intentions of a layaway. This policy is available for non sale items equal to or exceeding $100.00 per order. There will be absolutely NO refunds, exchanges, or changes / removals made towards the layaways. The price of the doll or other product on the date that the layaway begins is the fixed price for the product you have set up on layaway. If you cancel a layaway plan, you lose ALL monies that have been paid without exception. Pre-orders and layaways are both considered FINAL SALES.

The initial payment is not refundable. If the layaway is cancelled, you will forfeit ALL payments you have applied to your layaway. If you are more than (30) days late, the layaway is cancelled, the items are restocked and all payment(s) are forfeited.
